I've been working on a novel involving Indy's search for Excalibur for almost a year now (on and off). It's pretty tough, Arthurian legends did a pretty good job of taking Excalibur out of the picture.

Another interesting artifact of legend is Aladdin's Lamp, or Sargon's Sword. Or, another idea I'm working on, is the Knights Templar (the recent game "Broken Sword" sort of beat me to it, though).
