Hmmm,,,,mine is not "puffy" at all. It doesnt scratch as easy as yours either. The jacket itself is pretty soft though, I dont consider that bad though. My sleeves fit perfectly, still my only minor problem with it is I should have maybe ordered the next size up, then again my beer gut is my own problem. If yours is "REAL PUFFY" maybe a day or two under the mattress would help you out. Danno
