In all my Tod pictures the fold over strap is not there!(nm)

: They didn't have snaps. They had the metal stud on the front of the flap over which a leather strap pushed over and onto from the back of the holster, which is what is already on my reproduction. The only thing I would change personally is the belt loop on the back to be a little more horizontal and less angled in as the British officers wore them.
