Yes the Motercycle chase was filmed after the film was thought to be
complete.This goes along with the story that Sean connery was all
set to play sybok in star trek 5 but he was called back for
RE_FILMING of the motercycle chase.(i belive there were just a few
changes from the original version.Anyway the thing is,sean had his
eybrows shaved for the fake spock eybrows for star trek and that is the
reason why his hat is pulled down low thrughout that scene.I think he
had false eybrows on.
This is all rumour and passed on info so im not sure how much of this
is true.As to another actor as sallah,i couldnt say but ill ge and watch
the last crusade now and have a look.
