TRIVIA CONTEST reactions...and thank GOD it's over!

I am absolutely thrilled that so many of you have obviously enjoyed
this trivia contest... It makes me want to "jump inta da firm-ma-
ment", as Mr. Bengini once said so famously.

The contest was designed for pure fun, and a challenge to boot. I've
kept a pretty low profile on the forum for the longest time, and in
some weird, nerdish way this was a nice way to return. Call me
exploitative, but I enjoyed a little of the Indy-hype this generated.

A lot of people, in conjunction with submitting their answers, asked
in their emails to me "So Adam...who the heck are you and where'd you
come from?" In short, I'm just a normal twenty-something guy who
moved away from home to work in the film industry. As to the success
of my tentative career, all I'll say is that I'm happy to at least be
working in the business in some fashion and to more or less be able to
pay the bills.

RAIDERS had a big impact on me, in that it was the movie that made me
fall in love with the movies. Though other films inspired me to
follow filmmaking as a career, RAIDERS was the first spark to really
put a smile on my face.

I first used "the internet" while in college a few years ago, as a
computer-proficient friend was, essentially, showing me how it worked
and how many fan sites are made for films, music, etc... And so, I
said "look up Indy for me"...and, lo and behold, Micah's was the very
first web site I ever saw. (I hope he's tickled to know that.)

This contest has literally knocked the wind out of me, both in its
creation and in your corrections (as Micah so crudely yet eloquently
attested to). Thank God it's over.

Hmm... I wonder how much all that postage to Canada, Greece, and
Belgium's gonna cost me... Ugh.
