NY yankees/giants? who does short round root for?

looking over the trivia answers, i noticed that short round is said to be wearing a yankees cap. isn't he supposed to be wearing a NY giants hat? i noticed this same mistake in the TOD roleplaying sourcebook, and wonder why nobody picks up on this. the yankees have had the same logo almost forever, and the giants logo looks like the current mets one (before the giants moved to san francisco). can anyone who is a baseball fan back me up?

although i doubt i would have gotten half
of the other trivia questions right...
