Hey,the Yankees never had pen stripes on their hats in the thirties,but they did have them on their jerseys.I remember it being differnt than a Yankees hat.A Yankees hat doesn't have curves in the letters of the words on the hat.The Mets still have curves in the lettering.Also the Yankees had a solid blue hat,I should know because I have two of them and the Yanks haven't changed them in a very long time.Take a look at the hat on video close up and you will see how the words are differnt than the ones on a Yankees hat.
