Um, actually, it's not a Mets hat. The Mets didn't exist as a team until the 1960's. They were created after the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants moved to California in the late 50's. I don't think that Lucas and Spielberg would have made that kind of mistake. Now I admit it's been awhile since I've seen Temple of Doom, but my guess is that, if it isn't a Yankees hat, then it's probably a Giants hat, which looked a bit like current Mets hats.

: It's the Mets.The Mets have the same symbol but it's the Mets,cause the mets have curves in both letters on the hat.The Yankees never had pinstripes on their hats,they had them on their jerseys.The Yankees always had solid blue hats with the "N" and the "Y".
