Frankly, I'd rather hear cut-together pieces of John Williams work from the other movies than hear something from some other guy. John Williams is simply irreplacable for adventure movies. Without him, Indiana Jones and Star Wars would be single forgotten movies, in my opinion. I think John Williams will do it no problem, since he has a good repoire with both Lucas and Speilberg, and Speilberg has NEVER gotten anyone else to do his movies before... it's always been Williams. As a Williams fan, I can say I might boycott the movie if he isn't doing the music. It would be nice if we had the London Symphony Orchestra as well instead of some generic Hollywood Orchestra (The LSO did Raiders, but not The Last Crusade... not sure what orchestra did ToD..)
Just my 2 cents.

: If John Williams don't do Indy IV the best person to conduct music for Indy IV is that Silversti guy! You know the guy who did the Back to the Future movies. Did he do any other movies? Who else would you prefere to do Indy IV music? See ya's, Shorty.
