I thought booby traps were pretty universal? It would be very ignorant to assume that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg invented the concept of the booby trapped temple. Although the trap devices in both the Indy films and the Tomb Raider games are a little more sophisticated than the reality, ancient tomb builders anticipated robbers, and safeguards, such as collapsing ceilings were designed.
To villify TR for using booby traps would be equivalent to saying that it rips off Indy because Lara uses guns.
Is that the reason their is so much animosity toward the TR games? Because Lara has to dodge rolling boulders?
