I keep my fedora sitting on an antique globe I have (1940s-50s vintage). The Golden Idol is on display in my bookcase. I also have a 1930s telephone and when I get one of those old leather suitcases (and a whip and a S&W Revolver) I'll be able to take the jacket out of the closet and toss them all in the suitcase and say "...besides, you know what a careful man I am" or something like that. Then I will feel real cool. (And you must think I'm crazy!)

For know I just keep the stuff in the closet.

: Personally, I have my gear on a hanger over my closet door, well, my shirt, bag, one of my jackets, and my Miller Indy hat anyway. (My HJ only comes out of the box when I'm gonna wear it.) I like to show 'em off. Add that up to my wall hung SW toys, my Darth standee plus a bunch of other stuff, and now at 25 I have the room I wanted when I was 10!
