A Question for MICHAELSON

Michaelson, I hear you're quite the Indy expert. Ok, that being the case, maybe you can clear up a problem I have with Temple of Doom. Could you please explain to my why it is that when Indiana is comparing the writing on the wall inside the secret passage in Willie's room to the cloth he has, he reads it from left to right? Almost all languages from that part of the world are written and read from right to left. Thanks, D. Jones.
