Forum novel preface

Hey guys.
Question: I was going to contribute to the forum novel, but only get to my computer about once a week and when I do the next chapter is already written. Since most of Indy's stories begin at the ending of a previous adventure, would anyone be opposed to my writing an unrelated climax as the preface to the forum novel? I could dovetail it into the volcano in the opening to chapter 1. It would allow me to contribute to what looks like an interesting story.

P.S. Aaron, Toht, and Mola Ram please don't quit. Even if the new guy with the archeaology text and poor social skills turns out to be Hemingway I'm enjoying things and if you are too than that's reason enough to keep going.
