I stopped by David Morgan's store over lunch. The Akubra Bushman available there looks even better in the flesh, if you will. The color is lighter then the Nostalgia - more the nougat color that was originally available with the Stetson Temple. It looks good.

The thing I was most impressed with, though, was the felt itself. It is MUCH stiffer then that of the Nostalgia.

By the way, it turns out that cutting down the brim is FREE at my local men's hat shop! How often does that happen...

Anyway, I'm a few weeks away from being able to spare the $87.50. If anybody cares, I'll keep the forum posted.

By the way, I'll stick with the dimensions on Luger’s Fedora Page for the brim unless any HJ owners let me know otherwise.
