Actually, I seem to recall that even HJ has admitted that he can no longer get the original color or the original felt blank stamped from the original form, as suppliers have come and gone and nobody ever thought it was going to be a big deal. Granted, the Poet is supposed to be as close as they can come, and he is the original source.

I digress. Suffice it to say, as I understand it, HJ doesn't even claim it still supplies a hat in the color of the original.
