: : : Hi:
: : : Just noticed on e-bay, item #166944021 - a whip that the seller claims was "recovered" from the set of one of the Indy movies, although unrecovered. Is it just me or does it look nothing like a David Morgan whip and some scheister is trying to pull a fast one?
: : : Cheers,
: : : Sean

: : Whether it's authentic is anyone's guess. I did notice that he
: : changed the fall on it. (Doesn't look like cowhide) Well, he's
: : already sold it, though. A bid constitutes a sell. And even if it's
: : not an authentic movie prop, he's asking about the right price for
: : a David Morgan Indiana Jones bullwhip. (his use of the word "style"
: : caused me to scoff at first, because "style" implies that it's fake.
: : I don't even look at Indiana Jones "style" hats, whips, and jackets,
: : because they are always some cheap rip-off.

: : -Dale

: In this case, Dale, the whip has not sold as his reserve has yet been met, and therefore he is not obligated to honor the lower bid by eBay rules. The current (and only)bidder has a -1 feedback too, so that's interesting as well. Totally agree on the "Indy style" thinking myself. I usualy cruise past those described items as well. Regards. Michaelson

There should have been a "not been yet been met" in that first sentence. Darn fingers! Regards. Michaelson
