Did anyone else see Harrison Ford on Larry King Live?
They discussed Indiana Jones!!! (Though nothing pertaining to
a fourth movie) It showed the clip from Raiders where he outran
the boulder in the temple, and where he shot the Cairo swordsman.
Basically, he was asked what made the Indy films such popular movies
and why they were so successful. Harrison chalked it up to the fact
that they were made up of "all the things that are fun about movies"
and a tip of the hat to George, Steven, and the writers. That, and
how they were a different kind of movie than those that were being
made in modern times. He was also asked if he had seen the new
Star Wars and what he thought about it. He answered that he thought
the acting was fantastic, and how he was amazed at how far special
effects have come in twenty years. (I, in particular was amused by
this and nodded knowingly) He went on to say that he would not want
to portray Han Solo again because he didn't have anywhere to go
with the character after [Jedi]. It was an extremely good interview
peppered with TOO MANY commercial breaks. His hair looked cool, too!!!
I just hope that I look that good when I'm fifty-seven!!!
