I understand what you saw.

Back in 1972 with hurricane Agnes (I think that was the name), pretty much flooded the main street of my small hometown.
While we were not affected, it was still hard to see the buildings and shops practically underwater, and instead of cars driving down main street, boats were cruising down instead.
I hope everything turns out alright, and glad to hear that no one was physically hurt because of it.
