These are what the "Making of Raiders" book mentions, as well as a lengthly fight between Indy and the Cairo swordsman. According to the book, Harrison Ford was suffering from heat sickness (to be polite), and when the fight went take after take, he suggested the pulling of his revolver and shooting the swordsman, thus ending the scene. That's the scene we saw in the theaters. Regards. Michaelson
