Actually you came to just the right place to find out everything you want to know (and probably much much more) about Indy's Gear.

To briefly answer your questions- yes the jacket was custom made and the canvas bag is a British WW2 Gas Mask Bag. But to find out the details,and where ot get these items, check out www.indygear.com.
