Remember that both Last Crusade and Return of the Jedi - the final installments in each respective trilogy - were, essentially, remakes of the first installments. They both featured the return of the same villain (Raiders' Nazis and A New Hope's Death Star), they both featured a return to locales we had all seen in the first installment (in both films - the dessert) and they both attempted to neatly tie up the series' plot lines by answering all possible questions (LC: His real name is Henry Jones NOT Indiana, we learned how he got the fedora, the whip, ehe leather kacket, etc... ROTJ: Darth Vader, Yoda and the Emperor die - leaving Luke alone, Leai is his sister, the Empire is no more etc...).

Interesting, huh?
