: How well do HJ or Stetson fedoras hold up to rain, especially drizzle kind of rain?

: Many thanks.

Regarding Stetsons, in a drizzle or light rain, no problems. If in a steady constant downpour, look out. I had one experience with a T of D fedora that I had worn for MANY years that in the middle of one torrential rain storm, the dye actually began to release from the felt, causing a trail of dye stained water to roll down between my eyes. I thought my kids were going to die from laughter when they saw this happen. I, on the other hand, was not that amused at the time. It may have just been that particular hat too, as I have two other Stetsons that I have worn in snow and rain storms and experienced nothing remotely like this. It was not a fun experience. My girls thought it was. Regards. Michaelson
