I was going through my stuff and I found an old letter that
Rob MacGregor had written me awhile back. I thought that I would
post it for everyone to read (for no particular reason because I
have nothing better to do). Here it is in it's entirety:

26 Feb. 1999

Dear Dale,

Thanks for your kind letter. I'm sorry it has taken so long to reply.
I've been busy working on a proposal and just finished it.

I'd been told that Max McCoy was completing his last Indy novel. I
understand he had some trouble with the last one, some differences
of opinion on the story line. As far as I know, there are no plans
for future Indy novels or a fourth movie. Of course, that could change.

If you would like to send your letter or a version of it to George Lucas, that's certainly fine with me. But don't hold much hope for
the future of Indy. George and the gang are all wrapped up in
Star Wars and any mention that I've made of Indy always gets the
response that Star Wars is taking precedence.

Thanks again for writing. My next novel comes out in June. It's
called PSI/NET and is co-authored with actor Billy Dee Williams,
who hopes to turn it into a TV series. It's a psychic thriller,
somewhat comparable to X-Files.

All the best,

Rob MacGregor
