: : : : I put the still-zipped file in the ROMs folder, started the emulator, but the Indy game is not on the list of ROMS! Aaron, what am I doing wrong now?

: : : Northy, what version of the MAME application are you using? I have
: : : 0.33b2 and it works with the unzipped file in the ROMs folder.

: : I'm not sure, but I'm going to go download the newst one and try again. I figured it might be a version problem...

: : -Northy-

: It is a version problem. I originally tried it on Version .30, and it didn't work. Version .33 Beta 2? No problem! [But the sound, oh, the tin can sound!]

I know what you mean about the sound. I've tried a variety of things
to make it better, but none have been satisfactory. The only way
I've managed to get a good sound quality is to set the "Frameskip" to
4 (under the options command), but then Indy runs around the screen
at hyperspeed! I've just learned to settle for a normal running Indy
and poor sound. If you find some other way to improve the sound,
please let me know.

Regards,
Stephen
