What is now the "Western" section in Waldenbooks used to be the "Men's Adventure" section. It contained things like The Executioner, Indiana Jones, and various western books.
About 1994, the Big Wigs at Walden's home office decided that the section header was sexist and changed it to "Westerns."
Some stores left the books in the section... others moved them around. The Walden's where I live now has them in the SciFi, the one where I used to work currently keeps Indy in the regular fiction!
Who says Political Correctness screws things up?
