Speaking of petitions... (very long post)

Way down below there is a post about petitioning the hollywood factions for another Indy flick. I'm all for it, but I have an idea for another slightly more reasonable petition. I think its about time Hasbro re-launched a new line of Indiana Jones action figures. The time is right. The entire trilogy+the young Indy chronicles is being released on video, there is a new video game coming out, and there could possibly be another film comng out soon. (Knock wood). You may already know about this, but over at Yakface.com, a Star Wars collectible site, they had a petition for a action figure of the bartender from 'A New Hope'. Hasbro listened and he is now being made. The same went for a desert skiff toy from 'Return of the Jedi', they asked, Hasbro listened. I think they are now running a petition for a Sith infiltrator. Darth Maul's ship from 'The Phantom Menace'. Only time will tell if it is made or not. Well, I say why should Star Wars fans get all the swag?? Have you seen the new episode I action figures?? They look like they are about to spring to life! And here I sit with my generic looking Indy figure from 1983. I want a new Indy toy that LOOKS like Indy. There is a new Han Solo figure out now that is a dead-on likeness of H.F. He can also stow his blaster in its holster. And the thing is only 3" tall!! I want a Indy figure that can holster his pistol!!! NOW!! You just know Hasbro could make the whole line just perfectly. I think it would sell great right about now. Hell, they are making 'Planet of the Apes' action figures.....How well do you think those are going to sell......(hehe)
