What do you guys think about a Raiders Directors cut?

Maybe you guys have discussed this before, but what are everyone's thoughts about a Raiders directors cut?

I personaly would like to see the 'Saula's execution' scene and many others that were filmed, fit the final movie and yet were cut for time and stuff like that.

How 'bout seeing Indy lash himself to the periscope w/ his wip and sit out the ride to the sub base cold and tired, battered and buised (if this one was actualy filmed)?

Wouldn't it be great to see such things?
