Raiders gunbelt buckle

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a belt with a buckle that looks pretty close to the Raiders gunbelt. It didn't have a metal keeper, so I went to the hardware store to find some nickel plated wire (or something) to make a matching metal keeper. I got some nickel plated "D" rings to bend straight, and then into a rectangle shape to make the keeper.

I started to beat myself shortly after I realized that the "D" ring looks more like the Raiders buckle than the buckle I had purchased. It cost me an entire 35 cents! I'm just going to pull the center toungue off an old buckle, and throw it together.

Anyway, please tell me what you think (if you are interested). I think it looks sharp, and the price can't be beat.
