: Years ago (over 10), i used to get a catalog from a company called P&S sales in North Carolina that sold Indy stuff, as well as other surplus and such. Inside, they offered for sale the 'Doom Machete', either surplus props or replicas of Indy's machete from the rope bridge scene. Yeah, you know the one. I have tried for years to acquire one, or even examine one closely, to no avail. The company is long gone, and I am still searching. Does anyone flippin' know anywhere to get one, or how to contact someone in the props dept. at Lucasfilm who does? Help! NOTE: this is not the cheesy 'Khyber Bowie' offered by united cutlery. I don't know what they're smokin', but that thing has nothing to do with anything Indy...........

Dave, don't waste your time. I have done business in the past with P & S, and at that time they were attaching movie titles to absolutely anything that vaguely resembled something from a popular movie. They were the first company I ever saw advertise an "official" Indy fedora, stating that it was the one and only original. It turned out to be a cheap wool wanna be. I remember the so called "Doom machete", and it was nothing but a surplus Chinese standard machete that had attached marketing literature. I wish I had the literature for my collection, but the piece of cheap imported metal wasn't even close. You could actually find something closer through U.S. Calvary catalog company in Kentucky that would resemble the actual machete, and would be decently made to boot. It just wouldn't come with the "snake oil" literature that P & S put in their boxes. Regards. Michaelson
