: : Everybody has seen an info in Internet Movie Database that Indiana Jones -4 will be released on May 4 2000. How accurate can these people be? Do they have some official background for their info? I mean - ARE WE HAPPY OR NOT???

: They are about 98.9% accurate. If you read George Lucas Biography, you would notice that there are some misinformation. Also, if you read the references for the temple of doom, it doesn't list Gunga Din as a source; remember: that whole movie was based on that movie. If you type in 'thugee' on the search for genre keyword, you will find that Gunga Din is listed and not Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

They are quite accurate with regards to films that are either already out or no big secret to begin with. When we're dealing with a highly secretive film, the accuracy rate drops incredibly. The IMDB is not "official" in any sense of the word, and merely is a place where ordinary people (such as you or I) can contribute movie info to help make the site more complete. This unfortunately includes a lot of "fan fiction" reports, or even outright lies and fabrication/speculation. Don't trust anything you read there if it is about Star Wars or Indy, because it's very likely not true.
