Alden Alternatives

Hey I found a pretty good alternative to shelling out like $200 for a pair of Alden boots. They're called "Storm Chasers" and they're made by Rockport and sold through the Cabelas website. They've got the same shape and basic look as the Aldens, but for half the cost. I ordered a pair on Tue. the 19th and they arrived on Fri. the 22nd. They cost $109.95 and the shipping was like $10. I've already walked a lot in them and gotten them all banged up and dusty. They're comfortable right now but I know they'll be real comfortable once I break them sumbitches in. They're a little darker than the Aldens...they're "chocolate" brown, but they're 100% water-proof...which I doubt them pricey Aldens are. Hey they even got a steel "shank" in 'em...Anyway I reckon you guys oughtta check 'em out.
