Stares? Well, maybe so but look at all the people who wear cowboy hats. If you think about it, they stick out a lot more then a fedora does.

I wear mine occasionally - actually more in the hot weather then in the rain. We get too used to the rain in Seattle. I must say, though - I wear my Wested EVERY day.
