cuts in Spring Break Adventure (Princeton)

Anyone else notice the cuts at the end of the Princeton segment of Spring Break Adventure during the car chase scene? Half of the chase was cut! The whole segment where Indy & Nancy are riding alongside Thompson and he is slamming into their car until they both nearly crash head on into a truck full of dynamite was edited out. I can't for the life of me figure out why they would have done this. I wonder what other edits have been made in the other videos...
