You're right! I forgot about that scene - it was cut from the video as well. The only thing I can think of is that they had an edited version which was to be used on USA (or whatever station ended up airing them) and they used teh wrong print to run off the videos. The BBC has done this on numerous occasions with Doctor Who videos - it can happen. If that's the case, I hope the future DVD release is uncut.

: I haven't seen the video yet, but I watched Spring Break Adventure on USA a few weeks ago. I was hoping they had made the cuts to fit the broadcast time, but apparently not. Besides the chase scene, I remember a scene at the beach where Nancy was planning how many children she and Indy would have after they were married. I don't understand why they would make cuts like that for video.
