I sympathize with your position. Apparently it's perfectly respectable to go around not only wearing a Marilyn Manson T-Shirt, but actually looking like him, but to show any sort of special affection for a movie character is "Weird". I still get questions from people regarding my Indiana Jones or 007 themed desktop, but now it's more with a sense of- "Oh, cool- an individual! I wish I was a little eccentric and had a better imagination, but I'm always too worried about life in general to stop and enjoy a small but helpful level of fantasy." The moral of the story is- high school is only four years- once you're in the "Real World" people look at your ability to enjoy a certain level of fantasy with envy, rather than with intolerance and contempt. In a nutshell, rejoice- for there are no "Geeks" in the real world! (for the most part).
