Background on actor who played Marcus Brody

To whom it concerns

I lost track of who wrote the message, but somone wanted
wanted to know who played Marcus Brody. The actor's name was
Denholm Elliot. He died of AIDS, I think(don't hold me to that).
He was in "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd and
alot of others. I think his best role was Marcus Brody. Marcus was
a good charcter in the movie.
