Abner Ravenwood's first appearance!!!

Ok, I was just rewatching Mystery of the Blues. In that new scene where Indy is at his archeology lecture...who is that teaching? Didn't Raiders state that Indy had been instructed by Abner Ravenwood at the University of Chicago. Is that him? He seems a bit to much like an asshole, but who knows...
