Because the Cooper is made off the original pattern

Lucas owned a pattern of the original design. He gave it to Cooper for
production to the public...so buying a Cooper makes sense, but it's not
"authentic" in the sense that it comes from Peter at Wested.
Price can be comprable depending on what kind of hand you're dealt from
customs.
