Indy Demo Help!!!

I just started playing the demo and I am stuck, I made it up to the second level and walked to the right which is nothing but a dead end, but to the left (after a long walk) is an opening but Indy can't walk through it because it is closed on the bottom. How do I get him through the hole?????? Thanks for any help.
