"Indiana" Hawass and the Millennium Bash

While I was trying to wake up at 5:45 in the morning, I turned on Headline News Network, and there was Zahi Hawass, Undersecretary of the State for the Giza Monuments, standing in front of the pyramids, in a fedora, promoting his latest effort, a Millennium party at the pyramids in Giza There will be a laser light show on the pyramids, backed up by a French musician. They expect 50,000 and it will cost about $9 million US to produce. There will be ticket sales, but the income is expected to come from cable. This, of course, is the same Zahi Hawass, who along with "Sallah" Povich, brought you "Indiana Hawass and The Raiders of the Giza Plateau", where they attempted to "discover" a mummy on satellite TV. He has adopted the fedora, as any respectable Archaeologist would do. The brim is not right, and the crown is wrong, but the intent is clear.
