After hearing that the film was trying to aim for younger audiences this time out, I went to see this with low expectations. Halfway through it, however, I was surprised to find myself really enjoying this one. It has all the essential elements of a Bond film, surprisingly sharp dialogue, and Q gets one of his best scenes ever. I liked this one a lot more than Tomorrow Never Dies (although the "cunning linguist" line from TND is still one of the wittiest of the entire series), and I'm glad to see them take the series into some dramatic territory.

You're not alone in your opinion, though. Ironically, it seems the older audiences are enjoying this film far more than those in the "youthful market", judging by the critics' reviews vs. webboard reviews that I've read.
