: : So what's the verdict? Should I quit my job and buy this game?

: It depends ...
: From the messages I read in this forum IM seems like the best computer game of all time.
: But not for me.
: I played the Last Crusade and the Fate of Atlantis. Both were way better than IM.
: Especially the Fate of Atlantis.
: I can't understand why LucasArts changed the style of Indy games from the menu-driven, puzzle-solving games to Tomb Raider clones.
: Is Hal Barwood still the chief?
: I don't want a joystick Indy, I want a mouse game, if you understand me.
: (I have a joystick working on my computer, this is not the problem)
: I don't want the game to focus on action so much.
: There are so many TR clones. Why IM had to be like that and not like LC or FOA?

: Anyway,
: Just my 2 cents.

Well, let me tell you this; although it has been fun to play
adventures of Indy in a side-scrolling type game, you won't see
that again. Why? Because at the time, the technology doesnt permit
a full blast of graphics. That's the reason it was made that way.
They were great games, but now the new generation of Indiana Jones
games are here to stay, whether you like it or not. And maybe the
overall quality of the next game will be much better, and personally,
I hope they will do a game more distinct of Tomb Raider.
