HELP PLEASE!!

I am on the level with the Shambala temple. I have gone down and pushed the block to start the machine spinning. I have climbed all the way back up and tried to throw all the switches buit none work! What am i supposed to do after i start the machine up by the stream?? PLease help...i will be sooo grateful...been stuck for 4 days...LOL thanks alot
