Infernal demo problem

Yeah, I know, the game is out already, but I don't have the money right now and christmas is right around the corner. Anyway, I just got the demo off the game's site, but when I begin to play, the title screen with the gears and the Indy logo shows up with some Indy-ish music and a red line coming from the upper lefthand corner, but that's it! It then freezes and quits. What does this mean? Do I not have enough memory, or is my 3D card not good or what? Anyone know? On a side note, there's some neat-o Indy icons on the demo! A hat & Whip, Harrison's head and some other items in the game.
