Although I don't think Ford is too old to play Indy another time or two, I wouldn't have a problem with them replacing him if he decided against playing Indy again.
I think the youngest age that Ford could realistically play Indy as at this time is 45. Indy's had a hard, outdoor life so it's natural that he would look a little more aged than most college professors.

If they need to replace Ford than I hope they'll go with a relative unknown. I'd like to nominate two actors from TV that I think could do a great job as Indy. David James Elliott from "JAG" would make a cool Indy. My second choice would be Eric Close from the new show "Now and Again."
Take a look at either of these guys and I think you'll see a potential Indy in them.
