I finally got The Infernal Machine Official Strategy Guide...

... and man, is it thick - 428 pages thick (not including a few pages of ads for other LucasArts games in the back)!!! Strangely enough, it fits right into the game box for easy storage! :)

It's pretty nice, with an introductory chapter whose story actually leads up to the first level of the game (why didn't they include that information in the intro to the game itself?), and the book has solutions with pictures and everything.

Of course, I'll only refer to the book when absolutely necessary, but to paraphrase a well-known saying, "It's better to have a Strategy Guide and not need it, then to need a Strategy Guide and not have it!" :D
