: As you know the Y2K is one month away. The indyfan.com server will crash along with some of our computers. And when I say some of our computers, I mean some. Not all. Being curious(And risk taking) I went to the little clock on the bottom right of the screen near the ICQ icon and then put January 1, 2000 and nothing happened. I guess that's because my puter has four digits instead of one. Although I'm sure that clock is merely for time telling and not the "Internal" clock of the computer itself. But it would be hard surfing the net with no websites, hehe. I wonder if there's a way to save webpages to disks? See ya, Shorty.

The web as an information super highway, will be OK on 01/1/00. It is the offramps and side streets some of us have gotten used to that will crash - smaller servers which cater to specific users which may not have the resources or discipline to plan.

The general concensus seems to be that it will be largely a non-event, due to a lot of planning and hard work.

Cheers!
