I recently received my lambskin Last Crusade jacket (new finish)and I love it. I was amazed at the light weight of the jacket, but in the 2+ weeks I've had it, it's been through a Minnesota snow & sleet storm and several trips into deep woods and underbrush. It emerged with barely a scrape. Personally, I selected the new finish because I want my jacket to show the wear and tear of MY adventures. I also don't think factory distressing looks very natural (IMHO).
