Indy promo or hokey rip-off

Hi all:
I was at the 'Future Shop' which is an electronics chain here in Canada. I was browsing the software section when I noticed a "promotional" item for 'The Infernal Machine.' It was a black child-sized whip with a red popper, and it cost $9.99 Canadian or free with purchase of the game.
Is this an "offically sanctioned item" or a licensing violation? It was packed in a hard plastic shell case with an insert depicting the Indiana Jones logo and a screenshot. If this is not an "official" item, and is in fact a rip-off, I will bring it to the attention of Lucas licensing. Anybody have any thoughts?
