PLEASE HELP!!! The Sudan level...

I've got the lens hooked up, the first bar of the big golden door's opened and the Commie's have arrived (and been killed!)

I've pushed the moveable block underneath the big crushing block, and the map hint says to go across the chasm from here, but I don't know where it is telling me to go... Or how. Anyone know?
